Privacy Policy — Bible Crossword Challenge

The short version

Bible Crossword Challenge is offline-first. You don't need an account, and your puzzle progress, streaks, and achievements are stored only on your device.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or contacts. We use anonymous analytics and crash reporting (via Google Firebase and PostHog) to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. This may include:

Anonymous usage events (e.g. a puzzle was opened or completed)
Device type, OS version, and app version
Crash and performance diagnostics
Whether a launch is a first install or an update, so we can tell new players from returning ones

These events are tied to a random identifier, not to you. We do not record your screen, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Purchases

Premium is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes all payments — we never receive your card or billing details. We record which plan was bought, its price, and whether it started as a free trial, so we can tell trials apart from paid subscriptions.

Third-party services

We use Google Firebase (Analytics), PostHog (product analytics), and Apple (App Store / StoreKit). PostHog data is processed on their EU cloud. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies:

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No personal data is required to use it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
