The Creation Bible Crossword

Genesis 1 is built like a poem, and it turns out to be built like a crossword too — six days, each with its own work, each ending the same way. In the Beginning asks for the light divided from the darkness, the firmament called Heaven, the dry land called Earth, the lights set to rule the day and the night, and everything that moves in the waters.

It's an easy grid and a good first puzzle, though a few clues reward reading the chapter closely: the KJV gives the days their own phrasing, and the evening and the morning are always in that order. The verse it closes on is the one the puzzle is named for.
