Ruth 1–4

The Story of Ruth Bible Crossword

15×15 grid · Medium · Ends on Ruth 1:16

A famine, a journey to Moab, three graves, and two widows on a road back to Bethlehem — one of whom will not go home. The Story of Ruth covers all four chapters: the gleaning in the field, the barley harvest, the threshingfloor at midnight, and the shoe plucked off at the gate to seal a bargain.

The book is short enough to read in a sitting, and worth reading before you solve. The closing verse is Ruth's answer on the road, which is the finest sentence in it.
