Nehemiah 1–6

The Nehemiah Rebuilds Bible Crossword

15×15 grid · Hard · Ends on Nehemiah 2:20

A cupbearer in a Persian palace hears that the wall of Jerusalem is broken down and the gates burned, and asks for leave to go and build it. Nehemiah Rebuilds covers the first six chapters — the night ride round the ruins telling no one, the families assigned gate by gate, the mockery from outside, and the builders who worked with one hand and held a weapon with the other.

It's a Hard puzzle with a great deal of proper nouns, and it rewards reading the chapters first. The closing verse is Nehemiah's answer to the men who tried to stop him.
